Born and raised in Virginia Beach, VA, Dr. Timothy Glass earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Biochemistry from Old Dominion University before going on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University. After dental school, Dr. Glass gained valuable experience in a private practice as a general dentist, where he developed a strong interest in cosmetic dentistry. This passion ultimately led him to pursue specialty training in orthodontics, earning both his Master of Science and Certificate in Orthodontics from West Virginia University.

With a strong foundation in overall oral health and aesthetics, Dr. Glass brings a comprehensive and patient-centered approach to orthodontic care. He is a board certified orthodontist, a distinction that reflects extensive additional training and a commitment to the highest level of care for his patients.

Dr. Glass believes continuing education matters because our patients deserve care that is always evolving and backed by the latest technology and techniques. In 2026, Dr. Glass attended the Align API Nashville experience, where he learned about latest advancements in clear aligner treatment and practice innovation to bring back to the team.

Dr. Glass has also attended and presented on airway orthodontics at Bayview Dental Lab and continued his education at the Dawson Academy, where he advanced his expertise in the treatment of malocclusion and TMJ disorders. His approach focuses on creating healthy, functional and confident smiles through personalized treatment plans designed for each patient. He has also been recognized as a Top Dentist by Coastal Virginia Magazine.

Outside of the office, Dr. Glass enjoys spending time with his wife, who is his high school sweetheart, and their two children. When he is not creating confident smiles, he stays active by golfing and fishing. At home, he has a particular affinity for cooking and strumming his guitar.

Dr. Timothy Glass is a board certified orthodontist. To earn board certification, an orthodontist must complete two to three years of additional training after dental school.
