Board Certified Orthodontist

Dr. Timothy Glass is a board certified orthodontist. To earn a board certification, an orthodontist must complete two to three years of additional training after dental school. Employing the highest standards of care and lifelong learning, board certification is a voluntary credential that reflects the personal commitment of an orthodontist as well as patient dedication. To provide the highest level of orthodontic care, a board certified orthodontist demonstrates expert judgment, skill and knowledge while pursuing continual education.

Dr. Glass Uses Cutting-Edge Technology

Dr. Timothy Glass employs leading-edge technology to ensure his patients receive the most effective and efficient orthodontic treatment available. One such technology is called Indirect Bonding (IBD). This cutting-edge technique allows for an expedited installation process and ensures the precise bracket placement on each individual tooth. Dr. Glass also utilizes the iTero Digital Scanner for goop-free, digital impressions and the Dental Cone Beam CT to detect anomalies in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). Leveraging this cutting-edge technology improves patient care and enhances their experience.

Conservative Care

At Glass Orthodontics, we believe there is an ideal time to begin orthodontic treatment. In accordance with the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), we also encourage parents to have their child seen by an orthodontist around age 7 or 8 to identify any problems that may be developing in this stage of rapid growth. Early interceptive treatment aims to create space in the upper arch allowing room for all of the newly erupting permanent teeth. This added space will reduce the risk of extracting permanent teeth. Early treatment allows an orthodontist to guide the growth of the jaw to achieve the best possible outcome during orthodontic treatment.
