Approximately every two weeks, you will move into a new set of aligners to keep your treatment progressing efficiently. Periodically, Dr. Glass will have you visit for checkups to ensure everything is moving smoothly, address any concerns and make refinements as needed.

  • Step 1. Complimentary Consultation

    • At this totally risk-free, complimentary consultation, Dr. Glass will evaluate your smile and determine if clear aligners are a good fit for you.

  • Step 2. Digital Impressions With iTero®

    • At the forefront of orthodontic technology, Dr. Glass will take precise 3D digital impressions using our iTero® scanner, eliminating the need for uncomfortable traditional molds.

  • Step 3. Personalized Treatment Plan

    • Using advanced software, Dr. Glass will map out your smile transformation so you preview your expected results before even beginning treatment.

  • Step 4. Custom Aligners

    • Each set of aligners is worn for one to two weeks, gently guiding your teeth into position. As you progress, you’ll switch to new aligners that continue moving your smile toward alignment.

  • Step 5. Consistent Wear And Progress Visits

    • For best results, wear your aligners for 20–22 hours a day. You’ll need to visit us for periodic check-ins in our office, which will help ensure your treatment stays on track.

  • Step 6. Reveal Your New Smile

What Can Invisalign® Treat?

Clear aligners are an effective solution for a wide range of orthodontic concerns, including:

  • Mild To Moderate Alignment Concerns

 Caring for clear aligners is easy but essential for efficient treatment. Dr. Glass recommends brushing your teeth after eating or rinsing your mouth with water before reinserting your aligners. To clean them, use a soft-bristled toothbrush and gentle soap. Avoid abrasive toothpaste and hot water, as they can damage the aligners. Do not soak them in mouthwash or denture cleaning solution. We recommend using Retainer Brite instead.

The length of treatment varies depending on your individual smile needs, but most patients complete treatment within 6 to 18 months.

For best results, we recommend wearing aligners for 20 – 22 hours per day.

Patients may experience mild pressure or soreness when switching to a new set of aligners. However, this is typically more comfortable than the discomfort that follows adjustments with traditional braces.

Aligners should be removed when eating or drinking anything other than water.

 Invisalign® aligners are virtually invisible and barely noticeable. Unless you choose to share your smile journey, most people won’t even know you’re wearing them.
