Dr. Glass is a passionate orthodontist who strives to improve his patients’ self-confidence. If you were to ask him what he loves most about being an orthodontist, the answer might surprise you:
“I am passionate about the airway! Orthodontics has allowed me to improve my patients’ nasal breathing – which, in turn, has a huge impact on their overall health. For me, there is nothing better than hearing from a parent that their child no longer snores or that they have been doing better in school or sports because they have improved breathing after our treatment.”

I was born and raised in the southeast part of Virginia Beach. I attended Kellam High School.
Tell us about your family!
My wife, Lindsay, and I have two children, Andrew and Taylor. Our family also has a mini Bernedoodle, Carly. Andrew enjoys playing the drums, lacrosse, basketball, and golf. Taylor enjoys playing the piano and soccer and is very artistic. She is always creating new slime combos and loves to have us as students in her classroom. Lindsay and I are really enjoying our kids’ ages. We are having lots of fun watching them play sports and taking trips with them to see new places.
Favorite way to spend a weekend?
My ideal weekend is spending the morning at the gym and then hanging out with my family. I really enjoy cooking, so I usually try to make one or two meals at home. Our family enjoys going out to eat as well – Esoteric is one of our favorite restaurants in Virginia Beach. I enjoy playing the guitar or playing the drums with the kids. Sometimes I get to play 9 holes of golf with my son, Andrew, which is great.
What kind of music do you like?
I like almost every style of music. I listen to country, rock, rap, and so on. Lindsay and I love live music, and we usually attend 4-5 concerts a year. Last year, we saw Bruno Mars in Florida and it was an incredible show.
What’s your favorite movie?
My favorite movie is The Count of Monte Cristo.
What’s your most-used productivity hack?
My best productivity hack is using sticky notes, I would not be able to keep my mind organized without them.
What do you love most about Chesapeake/Elizabeth City?
What I love most about Chesapeake and Elizabeth City are the families I have gotten to know. My office manager, Gail, has been with me since I started my practice; I have kept our goal of providing the highest level of care for my patients at the forefront of all we do. It has been very rewarding to see my practice grow and the families in these communities embrace the practice. I have the best staff anyone could ever dream of, and I am so thankful.
