COVID-19 Closure Notice
Dear Glass Orthodontics Family,
To do our part to stop the spread of COVID-19 and because we are in a high exposure risk setting, Glass Orthodontics will be closed Monday, March 16th– March 27th in accordance with the recommendation of the Virginia Dental Association. If you have an appointment during this time, our team will contact you to reschedule! We will be working virtually and our team members will be ready to answer your questions or aid in the resolution of orthodontic emergencies by phone.
For the past few days, we have been thinking about our role as a potential source of virus spread, due to the aerosols we create and the number of patients that we see in close contact. By postponing our patient appointments we will be aiding in “flattening the curve” that will give our hospitals and health care workers the gloves, masks and other resources needed to treat those infected.
Chesapeake and Elizabeth City are wonderful communities that we are lucky to be part of. Our team remains dedicated to serving you every day with the same commitment to our values you’ve come to know. We are hopeful that by taking these proactive steps we will help to minimize the effects of this pandemic. As the situation rapidly changes, we continue to follow all federal and state guidelines and will adjust accordingly and keep you updated.
